In other news... not much... but I am working on a t-shirt design and a few small projects and I hope to have a couple new images posted soon. I have been experimenting lately with different techniques and I hope in the new year there will be some evolution in my art.

Also, I am in the process of making some of my art availble as skins for various products including phones, X-Box and PS3 gaming systems as well as a few other items. Hopefully that will be soon.

Alrighty then! I have a new site up this week. Iam still working on it and need to add images to a few of the galleries like the Band Art section but that should happen soon. THere are some bugs I need to work out but it's just about all there. I'm not really a web designer so the look may change but for now, it's going to stay for a little while!

EDIT: Okay, when I upload my gallery, the thumbs on the artwork menu have a purple border around them and the javascript doesn't work which fades out the thumbs. Anyone have any idea to get rid of that border? It doesn't show on my local site and works just fine when I preview. This used to work on my previous site but for some reason it's being weird. Any tips would be helpful.

So....after a few weeks in Dallas, my truck that I take great pride in was broken into yesterday. The guy smashed both driver side windows, tore up the paint with a screwdriver, left blood all over the door, the back window and some in the interior (I'm assuming he cut himself pretty bad on the glass) and all for what?! He stole my eight month old's diaper bag!!

This occured in a time frame of about 20 minutes. We went into a store for 20 minutes, came back and that happened. The blood was still fresh! I was pretty angry but he was caught on video trying to break into other cars at the same place. So maybe he'll be caught but I'm not too optomistic about that.



Finally finished moving to Dallas, TX a few weeks ago buit still settling in. The previous owners of our house left a lot of their stuff (like a piano) so we had to move out their stuff and clean house before we moved in. That wasnot a good thing! There were a lot issues that snowballed from that but things are calming down. Now I just need to find a new job. At least I have some freelance jobs to tide me over for a bit.

I will get back onto DA more frequently once I get settled. Right now I am working on new cover art for the band Cryogen [link] They are from Denver and they have a great sound and are one of the more technical metal bands I've heard. So I am psyched to be working with them again. I hope to have the art done soon so I'll have something new to post!

I have a few other projects as well, one including doing some art for a movie but we'll see how that develops.

So....it looks like I'm moving back to Dallas, TX in a few short weeks. So I'll probably won't be around much (what's new). But I do plan on settling in and creating like crazy and being a little more involved online. My apologies to my friends that I haven't been commenting much but I hope that will change once I've moved. It's an exciting opportunity that lies ahead and we hope to make the best of it.

In other news, my image "Delicate" is being used as a front book cover for the book "Vile Things" [link] If the link doesn't work, just type in CometPress.us. A collection of extreme horror stories by many varied artists. The book has garnered positive reviews in such magazines as Fangoria.

I have another image that will hopefully be used in an upcoming Stephen King movie. More details on that as it develops.
